    Description

1960-D Franklin Half Dollar, graded MS64 by ANACS. In a Generation 1.0 slab or Type 11 ("Soapbox" holder). Strike is strong, would certainly get the FBL designation if it was in a newer holder. Fields are fairly clean and lustrous. There are a couple of light hits on either side of the coin, although not very noticeable. There is a bit of dark toning on each side as well, not to distracting but not necessarily eye-appealing. Overall solid for the grade, perhaps even undergraded.
