1971-1972 California-Hawaii Elks Convention Token #616

Description

This is a 1971-1972 California-Hawaii Elks Convention Token #616.  This token has the image of a Bull Elk on the obverse, with a clock with Roman Numerals behind it.  Around the edges it says, "California-Hawaii Elks Convention 71-72."  This token is then stamped with the number 616, and around the bottom portion of the clock, and centered with the 3 and 9 numerals, is the abbreviation BPOE."  The reverse of this token says, "Gateway to Elkdom, Hawaii '71, and has engraved on it the image of California and of Hawaii with the words, "California, and Hawaii" at the polar ends of the world.  A nice token with a little wear in the colors which is not bad for a fifty year old token!  Great for a collection, or to gift to an Elk you may know either from California or Hawaii.
