Works Great For Drive Through

I recently bought this to replace a much more expensive motion alert for our drive through. The sensor was easy to install and getting to the batteries just took a small Phillips head screwdriver. The alert part plugs in only taking up one outlet. There is no setup needed! Our sensor is outside about 15 feet from the indoor unit. It alerts consistently to cars without many false alarms. The best part of this unit is that the bell sound is loud enough to hear but is not super long and annoying like many of these units can be. It really is hard to do any better for the value, ease of use, and functionality of this alert system!

Ok I've had other driveway monitors, and this one works surprisingly well for the price!! I've had no false alarms and has a lot of different chime tones to choose from. I had no problem figuring out how to use it. Discovered the features almost by accident. Have the sensor approximately a football field length from the receiver. The only thing I noticed is the batteries will be kind of a pain to change. You have to unscrew the back panel and remove it to get to them.

I'd hoped for the receivers to provide a louder alert than they do, but each sensor can be paired to multiple receivers, so buying several sets allows placing receivers wherever needed to be audible. Moreover, there are 58 different alert tones, so programming each receiver to tie the same tone to a given sensor means they all play the same unique tone for whatever sensor is activated. Three pairs means threecreceivers distributed around my house so one is always in earshot; three sensors means I hear a different alert from the driveway, front door, or back door. VERY handy, and easily set up to boot!

It has great detection ability. The only problem is the alert system. I followed the directions but it doesn't change. Also wish it was rechargeable instead of disposable batteries.

I got two of these. Presently I have a Reporter Wireless Alert, which is over 12 years old. Incredible product. But no longer made. ebay is selling them for 250 bucks, which is ridiculous. These units look identical to the reporter. not as well made, BUT, they have dual tech, which means both PIR as well as Radar detection. This makes them more reliable in reducing false alerts.The receiver has no backup battery, unlike the Reporter. The sensor uses 4AA batteries and I measured 90ua of current consumption on stand-by. Not bad, about 450 days of operation.The alert tones are either silly songs, or dong-dongs which are all wrong for my taste, which I just want a buzz. But I can tolerate it.The way this works is to plug in the receiver, select the volume and alert tone you want, THEN pair the units by pressing volume and down buttons at the same time, then wave your hand in front of the sensor. If you do this, the memory in the receiver will remember it even with the power removed.also, you can teach two sensors and select two different tones, which lets you know where the sensor went off.good deal for the money. Really good deal actually

Does exactly what I wanted. Bought 2 so I have alarms on driveway entrance and end of driveway. Sensor is excellent and works at least 200 feet. I bit tricky to change the alarm tone but follow up email from supplier explained it well.
